A Regional Bike Ride Supporting Homeless Military Veterans, Sun 12 to Thurs 16 October 2025
A 4-day cycle ride covering 460km
Shining a spotlight on the unacceptable statistics relating to veteran homelessness and suicide. Showcasing the unique V Centre Veteran Empowerment Program. Building strong bonds between regional and urban Victoria to support veterans in need.
How can YOU get involved?
The Tour de V Centre is a new event, visiting Warrnambool, Ararat, Ballarat, Geelong and Box Hill - and all the places in between.
Every night there is an event at the end of the day's ride. OPEN TO EVERYONE - please join us to hear more about the V Centre Veteran Empowerment Program - and help us to help veterans.
Warrnambool Pre-Event Launch
- Sunday 12 October, 3pm
- South West TAFE, 197-205 Timor Street
- $10 per person, plus booking fee (total $11.90pp) – includes afternoon tea
Join with Tour de V Centre riders, local veterans and their families as we launch the inaugural Tour de V Centre – raising awareness of the issues facing our veterans, and hear about a new innovative response, the V Centre Veteran Empowerment Program.

Day 1 - Ararat Dinner & Guest Speakers
- Monday 13 October, 5.30pm
- Ararat RSL Sub-Branch, 74-76 High Street Ararat
- $50 plus booking fee (total $54.26) – includes two course meal
At the end of Day 1 of the inaugural Tour de V Centre, come along and enjoy a night of camaraderie over dinner, and hear from our guest speakers:
- Dan Tehan, Federal Member for Wannon, former Minister for Veterans’ Affairs
- Scott Rigby, East Timor Veteran
- Ken Tsirigotis, Afghanistan Veteran
Day 2 - Ballarat Dinner & Guest Speakers
- Tuesday 14 October, 5.30pm
- Ballarat RSL Sub-Branch, 330 Heinz Lane Invermay Park
- $40 plus booking fee (total $43.66 pp) – includes two course meal
The riders have now completed half of the inaugural Tour de V Centre. We’d like to invite the Ballarat and region community to join with us for this special event with guest speaker:

Day 3 - Geelong Dinner & Guest Speakers
- Wednesday 15 October, 5.30pm
- Geelong RSL Sub-Branch, 50 Barwon Heads Road Belmont
- $40 plus booking fee ($43.66 total pp) – includes two course meal
With Day 3 under their belt, riders of the inaugural Tour de V Centre will arrive in Geelong. Please come and join us for an evening to celebrate their achievement and talk about supporting veterans. We have special guest speakers:
- Matt Stokes, ex-Geelong FC player and two times premiership player
- Corinna Eccles, Wadawurrung Woman
- Paul West, from the Mark West Foundation
Day 4 - Box Hill Closing Dinner & Guest Speakers
- Thursday 16 October, 5.30pm
- Box Hill RSL Sub-Branch, 28 Nelson Road Box Hill
- $55 plus booking fee (total $59.54 pp) – includes two course meal
